Relay for Life
Relay for Life of Chesapeake held its annual event at Greenbrier Middle School. In addition to raising over $60,000 to help the fight against cancer, participants collected over a ton of food for Foodbank of Southeast Virginia.
The 2,063 pounds of food collected at the Relay for Life event in Chesapeake will enable the Foodbank to provide 1,719 meals locally to those in need.
The Luminaria Ceremony was a tribute to honor survivors and those who have lost the fight.
