Barbara Darden honored for her work in the community
Chesapeake native Barbara Darden was recently named Chesapeake Woman of Achievement by the Miss Chesapeake Pageant.
Throughout her life, Barbara has worked tirelessly for a variety of charities and civic groups, including the Oscar Smith 50th Year Anniversary Committee, the Chesapeake Care Clinic, the soup kitchen at South Norfolk Christian Church and the Great American Food Fest.
Barbara is also a member of community organizations such as the Chesapeake General Hospital Auxilliary Board, the Ladies Luncheon Pilot Club, the Red Hat Society and the Woman's Club of South Norfolk.
Congratulations to Barbara for a life of service!
